Teacher
revises vocabulary about daily routines using flashcards.

1. I’m going to start the class
singing “today it’s Monday” “If you’re happy and you know it Clap your hands”. Then, I’m going to ask
for a volunteer to paste the flashcard with the month and the weather and
write the date on the blackboard. Then, I’m going to ask the children how
they are feeling today.
2. The teacher is going to hand the
students a survey in which they have to circle and paint which food they
usually eat. After completing the survey, students will have to share the
information with their classmates by completing a chart. Then the information
is shared orally.
The purpose
of this activity is that students start reflecting about the food they
usually eat in relation with healthy habits and later on (after watching the
video) in relation with the different food groups.
