1. I’m
going to start the class singing “today
it’s Monday” “If you’re happy and
you know it Clap your hands”. Then, I’m going to ask for a volunteer to
paste the flashcard with the month and the weather and write the date on the
blackboard. Then, I’m going to ask the children how they are feeling today.
2. We check the homework assigned last class in the
blackboard so that all students can check.

1. The teacher asks the students to go to page 41 and
do activity number 3 which consists of a listening comprehension. They have
to look at the pictures of activity number 2 and write a tick if “yes, there
is”, a cross if “no, there isn’t” or a question mark if “I do not know” next
to the picture according to what they hear.

1. The teacher uses the poster of the city to explain prepositions
(next to, between) through writing examples in the blackboard. Example: The greengrocer is next to the

2. The teacher asks the students to go to page 43 and
do activity number 8, they have to write sentences using next to and between
according to the position of the food in the picture which appears in the
same place.
